I had to force myself to continue reading this book. Murakami’s use of descriptions were elementary and repetitive. The first two chapters are neither related nor interesting to the story… I haven’t decided if I’ll try reading any of his other novels. I do realize that this is a translation, but either much was lost in the act–or there wasn’t much there to begin with. I wouldn’t recommend this book to anyone.
